Prawn Balchao

Delicious for Spring roll, Chinese Pancake or Crepe Fillings.

As accompaniment to entrees or mains:
Paella, fried rice, fish croquettes, fish kebabs.

As a spice base for pasta sauce or as shortcuts in cooking dishes that require spicing up (Potato fillings for canapés).

Ideal as a filling in sandwiches, a topping for crackers, a savoury dip (add equal quantity of sour cream or yoghurt), a stuffing for eggplant, tomatoes or capsicum and a piquant accompaniment to pasta, rice curry and other meals. Goes well with grilled or steamed fish.
